After breaking the guard the most likely reaction from the opponent is the De La Riva guard to prevent the pass. Matt then shows how to kill the De La Riva hook using his knee to cut over the shin. If the opponent hooks the foot in an effort to prevent the right pass, he uses it against them by steering their hips into the opposite direction.
